Precious Resources Preschool believes in a strong partnership with our families. Our students, parents, and siblings are invited to participate in multiple events throughout the year, including Halloween, Winter Holidays, Reading Café, Mother’s Tea, Dad’s Night, Earth Day Celebration, Monthly Mom's Night Out Events and a moving up/graduation ceremony.
World Awareness
At PRP we promote the idea that we are part of a global population. We educate our students about cultural diversity, promote saving the rainforests, and involve our students in adopting endangered species, as well as celebrating Earth Day.
Introductory Spanish
Our students are exposed to basic Spanish vocabulary.
Famous Artist Program
PRP has developed a program which introduces children to famous artists and their works. Our program also provides children with the opportunity to express their own inner artist.
Virtual Storybooks:
Students at PRP create virtual storybooks to share with their families and friends. This only enhances and encourages their enthusiasm as emergent readers.
Children’s Yoga
Our students practice yoga weekly. Our unique children’s yoga program has been developed by PRP to help our children find balance, fine tune motor skills, develop body awareness, and relax through guided imagery. All while singing, playing games, and enjoying kid friendly yoga poses. Classes are taught by a certified Children’s yoga instuctor.
Outdoor Space
At Precious Resources Preschool we have carefully designed our outdoor space to enhance our student’s learning experiences. Our organic garden is planted, cultivated, and harvested by our students, families, and staff. Our butterfly garden is a wonderful place to set free the butterflies we raise within our classrooms in the spring. We have been dedicated an official WILD School Site by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.
Birdfeeders, nesting sacks, and squirrel feeding stations provide our students the opportunity to observe, care for, and appreciate our local wildlife.
