Our Staff

The staff we have assembled at Precious Resources Preschool is an amazing group of dedicated, professional, and talented educators. Each staff member is caring, loving and nurturing. Each individual possesses a desire to engage children in the wonders of learning, and foster their individual personalities. At PRP we are dedicated to making the preschool years a time to grow, learn, wonder, create, and make new friends.

  • All Lead Teachers have a degree in Education
  • All Assistant Teachers hold College Degrees
  • All staff members are trained in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse Detection/Prevention.

Greg Quast - COO

Mr. Greg holds a Business Degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.  Greg spent 23 years with a fortune 500 company developing businesses in Florida, New York and Ohio.  Greg has also spent time as the CEO of a non-profit healthcare organization based in Ohio.  Greg is the current CEO of Green My Life and Vice President of a third party logistics firm. Greg and his wife Barbara are passionate about the environment and education.  They have three children and reside in South Russell, Ohio.

Barbara Quast - Director

Miss Barbara holds a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota and a current teaching license in the state of Ohio in Early Childhood Education.  Miss Barbara has experience teaching in Minnesota, Florida and Ohio.  Miss Barbara is a certified children’s yoga instructor, and teaches all Precious Resources yoga classes.  Barbara believes strongly in quality education and the importance of the family/school partnership.  Barbara and her husband Greg believe that teaching young children to be good stewards of the Earth will advance the green movement from awareness to action, as it becomes second nature to our children.

Miss Mollie - PR1 AM (3 Year Old) Lead Teacher / PR2 PM (4 Year Old) Assistant Teacher / Toddler Program Assistant

Miss Mollie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Masters in Early Education. She has spent most of her adult life working with children, including a year abroad as an au pair. She volunteers at a therapeutic riding center; substitute teaches and works with special needs children in a residential treatment center. She has worked with Head Start and has developed a great interest in the emergent reading and writing processes incorporated in their family literacy program. Mollie enjoys knitting, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family outdoors.

Miss Meghan - PR1 AM (3 year old) Assistant Teacher

Miss Meghan holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from John Carroll University and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University. Miss Meghan taught elementary school in Solon for ten years before staying home with her children. She feels passionately about teaching conservation and a love of our environment for the future of this generation and generations to come. Meghan lives in Highland Heights with her husband and two sons.

Miss Linda - PR2 AM (4 year old) Lead Teacher

Miss Linda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University.  She taught second grade for 12 years for Strongsville City Schools.  She stopped teaching to be at home with her children. Miss Linda became an adjunct professor for Ashland University and helped to conduct professional development courses for teachers.  She loved working with teachers but missed being in the classroom.  Miss Linda is very excited to be teaching young children again in a positive, eco-conscious, and developmentally appropriate environment.  Miss Linda lives in Solon with her husband Mike and their three children.

Miss Hope - PR2 AM (4 year old) Assistant Teacher

Miss Hope has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Ursuline College.  Miss Hope has extensive experience working and volunteering with children at various local school in the Cleveland area.  Hope has a strong passion regarding the environment and animals and instilling the importance of these values onto children.  Hope and her husband Brian, along with their two children enjoy an active lifestyle and reside in Russell Township.

Miss Andrea - PR1 PM (3 year old) Lead Teacher / Toddler Program Lead

Miss Andrea holds a B.S. in Child Development and a M. ED. in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University. She taught preschool for a Head Start program in Northwest Ohio for 5 years. She then worked as a Behavior Specialist for Head Start. Her family relocated to the Cleveland area in January 2011 and she began working part time tutoring school-age children and spending more time with her own children. Although she enjoyed the opportunity to work with older children, she has missed the preschool classroom. Her teaching reflects her passions for early literacy skills and child guided project work. She lives in Macedonia with her husband and two daughters.

Miss Lisa - PR1 PM (3 Year Old) Assistant Teacher

Miss Lisa holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ursiline College and a Masters degree in Education and School Counseling from John Carroll University. She spent seven years at University Hospital of Cleveland conducting research studies with adults and children for the Department of Urology. After the birth of her second child, she chose to leave the workforce to raise her children and become more involved in her husbands business. She resides in Bainbridge with her husband Guy and their three children.

Miss Carol - PR2 PM (4 Year Old) Lead Teacher

Miss Carol holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Guilford College and a current Ohio teaching license in Early Childhood Education. She moved this past spring to the Cleveland area from the North Hills of Pittsburgh, where she had been teaching at Bellwood Preschool for the past six years, becoming especially known for her nutrition education and cooking programs. She also has experience teaching in a variety of settings in Chicago and North Carolina. She's excited to have the opportunity to continue fostering young children to take care of themselves, each other and the earth. She lives in Solon with her husband and three children.

Miss Jennifer - Substitute Teacher

Miss Jennifer holds a Degree in Social Work from the Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto and is a Licensed Child Welfare Specialist. Jennifer has over 10 years of experience as a Child Welfare Social Worker; investigating allegations of child abuse. Jennifer is also a published author of more than 30 non-fiction children's books; available in numerous languages and all around the world.

Miss Holly - Environmental Education Consultant

Miss Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Toledo, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Cleveland State University.  She has been active in local ecological research since 2011.  Her teaching experience includes formal classroom teaching, outdoor education, and one on one tutoring.  Holly enjoys sharing her love of science and the environment with students of all ages.  She lives in Solon with her two children Maria and Maddox.
